Every player can have up to 2 active pets: a main one and a secondary one. Pets participate with their master in combat and have both active and passive skills. However, in ranked PVP matches, pets cannot be used, so they are only needed for PVE.
Pets can be renamed at any time for free.
How to Get Pets
Your first pet, Assistant Jackalope, you will get for free by completing story quests. Other pets can be obtained from the Adore Summons feature. Every summoning attempt costs 1 Arcanite of Adore.
In addition, you can sometimes obtain pets from events. For example, in the “New Voyage” event, you can get Shining Crystafox upon earning 80 Career Points.
How to Get Arcanite of Adore
Arcanite of Adore is a rare and expensive item, which can be bought from the Shop for various currencies:
- 100 Opals / Prismadium;
- 30 Essence of Brocade;
- 200 Sky Points;
- 200 Commendation;
- 1000 Points (donations);
- Vouchers (donations).
You are guaranteed to obtain a small number of Arcanite of Adore by completing story missions. Also, Arcanite of Adore can be earned by participating in various events, for example, “Ancient Battlefield.”
Pet Lineup
Go to the Main Menu → Pets → Lineup. You can have 2 active pets at the same time: a main one and a secondary one. Every pet has an active skill, which will be available in combat.
These skills work in the same way as character skills: first, you must use the skill of the main pet, then the skill of the secondary pet becomes available.
Presets
You can save a pet preset in one of 10 available slots and rename it. In addition, you can specify for which game modes a saved preset will be active.
According to the list, pets can only be used in the following game modes:
- Training Ground,
- Checkmate,
- Elite Dungeon,
- Abyss Dungeon,
- Void Realm,
- Spar,
- Mine Wars,
- Ancient Battlefield,
- Golden Fleece Challenge.
Pet Skills
Every pet has 4 skills:
- 1 Active Combat Skill can be used by the player when the pet is active.
- 2 Passive Combat Skills increase combat abilities of players in various ways. For example, they can give a Healing Bonus % or a 5% Chance to Scorch an enemy when attacking.
- 1 Passive Assistance Skill gives bonuses for non-combat activities, for example, a chance to get a material refund when crafting certain items.
Skill Upgrading
Select a pet in the list and press on the “Skills” icon. Skill leveling up costs fruits:
- Active skill – Ultimate Fruit;
- Passive skills – Talent Fruit.
Each next level requires more fruits.
Fruits can be obtained in a separate game mode “Arena Shura Cup” (Tab → Challenge → Arena).
Pet Assistive Attributes
Pets have Assistive Attributes, which are different for every pet. When the pet is active (present in main or secondary slots), its Assistive Attributes are added to the corresponding character stats. For example, if a pet has an assistive attribute “Strength 92”, your character will get +92 to the Strength parameter.
Pet Leveling Up
You can level up your pets to increase their assistive attributes. For this, Experience Books (2000 EXP) or Advanced Experience Books (40k EXP) are required. Books can be obtained from the “Arena Shura Cup” game mode and various events.
Pet Evolving
Every pet can be evolved 3 times. This requires corresponding items, which can be obtained from the Adore Summons feature and depend on the pet itself.
Every time a pet is evolved, its assistive attributes rise, and the active combat skill gains a new additional effect, which also depends on the pet itself.
How to Enable / Disable Following
Go to the Main Menu → Pets and press on “Following” or “Set to Follow” to switch the mode. When disabled, the pet will still be active but will not follow you in cities.
