Crystal of Atlan: Prismadium – How to Earn and What to Spend It On

Prismadium

Prismadium is a free-to-play currency that can be spent in the Shop. It can be earned by selling Gold to other players via the “Consignment” feature. As you probably know, gold in Crystal of Atlan is divided into tradable “Gold” and untradable “Bound Gold” (with a lock mark on its icon). Only tradable Gold can be sold to other players. A separate guide on how to earn Gold is already published.

How to Sell Gold for Prismadium

  1. Go to Consignment → Sell.
  2. Put some Gold on sale. In the “Quantity” field, you can specify the amount: 50k, 100k, 500k, 1M, 5M, or 10M.
  3. Wait until someone purchases your Gold. You will get Prismadium in your mail.

Note that you pay a 10k deposit every time you put Gold on sale. The lot exists for 24 hours, and if you unlist it in advance, you will not get the 10k deposit back.

Also, you pay a transaction fee (a certain amount of Prismadium) for each sold lot. It will be deducted after the trade. The transaction fee depends on the amount of Gold you are selling: for 50k, it’s 1 Prismadium, and for 1M, it’s about 13–14 Prismadium (at the time of posting this guide).

How It Works

Using the Consignment feature, players can only buy Gold for Opals, but the sellers receive Prismadium instead. Prices of Gold are dynamic, and inflation gradually decreases them. For this reason, I recommend starting on a fresh server and striving to sell as much Gold as possible from the very beginning of the game.

What to Spend Prismadium On

You can spend Prismadium in the Shop on various items. Basically, this currency is almost equal to Opals, but you shouldn’t waste it on things that can be bought with other currencies. Keep it for something unique like outfits and dye solutions.
