Cross-Server Transfer Guide (ONCE HUMAN)

Since Once Human is a seasonal multiplayer game, you can transfer a significant part of your progress across servers at the end of the current season. The seasons last for 6 weeks, after which every player can migrate to a new server with the scenario of their choice. If you didn’t manage to transfer your character before the server closes, you will still be able to do this from the Eternaland.

How to transfer your character to a new server (season)

  1. Go to the Eternaland and open the “Esc” menu. Click on “Select a New Season Scenario.”

  4. Pay attention to the “Server Opening Time.” If the server has not opened yet, you will have to wait.
  5. If the “Capacity” of the server is full, you will not be able to sign up without a special invitation code from other players on that server.

How to transfer items to a new season

Item transfer is the most important part of the process, so be very careful with it. Once you transfer your character to a new server, everything that can be transferred across servers will go to your Spacetime Backpack. You can open it from your inventory and check the list of available items.

After every character transfer, you receive 20,000 Material Points, which can be used for transferring any items from your Spacetime Backpack to your Seasonal Backpack (your inventory on the current server). To do this, simply press the “Inherit Resources” button in your inventory.

When you hover over any item in the list, you can see the number of Material Points required to transfer it.

What should you transfer to a new season?

Beginner players usually transfer weapons, but this is a big mistake, as it costs a lot of Material Points. Below is a list of the most necessary and valuable items to transfer:

  1. Electric Drill, Chainsaw: These will allow you to gather materials at maximum speed from day one. One electric drill is enough for the entire season.
  2. Seeds, Fertilizers: Seeds for some plants (e.g., contaminated plants, aloe vera, morel mushrooms) are hard to obtain but cheap to transfer from Eternaland.
  3. Deviations: These are among the most valuable items you can transfer. Obtaining deviants with high skill ratings and the traits you need can take a lot of time. Pay special attention to Extradimensional Cat – Moonlit Jewel, Electric Eels, Lonewolf’s Whisper, Chefosaurus Rex, Buzzy Bee, Growshroom, and Lethal Rabbit.
  4. Controllers: These will help you farm legendary mods in Monoliths and Securement Silos.
  5. Eclipse Cortexes: These are cheap to transfer and necessary for territory purification and obtaining Starchrom weekly.
  6. Specific Materials: Although most materials are expensive to transfer, you might need to bring a few. Reserve some Material Points to transfer essential items like Rubber, Special Plastic, Refined Parts, Stardust Source, Fuel, or other rare resources.
  7. Animals: High-grade animals for your ranch can be transferred for 300 MP each, which is relatively affordable.
  8. Calibration Blueprints: These are expensive to transfer but worth it because you only need 1-3.
  9. Canned Seafood in Oil: This late-game food can be retrieved from your Spacetime Backpack earlier in the season to significantly speed up material gathering.
  10. Other food and drinks: Generally, consumables are not worth transferring, but it’s good to keep some Material Points on hand in case of urgent need.

How to transfer your territory to another server

You can’t transfer your territory directly. However, you can rebuild it in a new season using its blueprint. The blueprint is created and saved automatically when you migrate to a new server or when the previous one closes.

Once Human

Open the building menu with the “B” key and go to the “House Blueprint” section. There, you will find your blueprints with the “Last Season’s …” prefix.
