Gold is essential for progress in Crystal of Atlan. It is required for buying crafting materials, enhancing equipment, leveling up circuits, and for other features.
There are 2 types of Gold: “Gold” (tradable) and “Bound Gold” (untradable). You can see both in your inventory (B). The difference between them is that tradable Gold can be sold for Prismadium to other players, while Bound Gold cannot.
You can earn Gold in several ways.
Bind Your Account
Go to Settings → Other → Account Binding and link a Google, Apple, or Facebook account. For this, you will receive 500k Bound Gold. In addition, your account will be protected, so you will not lose it when switching devices.
Take the Survey
Via the main menu, go to the Survey section. The developers pay 200k Bound Gold for each survey you take. For example, at the moment of posting this guide, there are 2 surveys available, so you can earn 400k Bound Gold in a few minutes.
Complete Adventure Chapters
Each Adventure Chapter has potential drops: tradable Gold and EXP. For example, for completing chapter 3-14 Nexum, you can earn 3,330 Gold.
Among the rewards, there are also rare materials and pieces of equipment, which can be sold or dismantled. This way, you will earn even more Gold.
Dismantle and Sell Equipment
Any piece of equipment you receive in any way can be dismantled or sold, and the easiest way to obtain equipment is to complete Adventure Chapters. In your inventory, you can switch between “Dismantle” and “Sell” modes.
Some items are more profitable to dismantle, while others are better to sell directly. The thing is, Spare Parts that you get when dismantling weapons or equipment can be sold to other players via the Trade section (open the Material tab of the inventory, select Spare Parts, and press “Trading House”).
Since every item in your inventory has its price, which is displayed in the description, it is easy to calculate what is better: to dismantle the item or to sell it directly. For example, “gray” pieces of equipment of level 35 cost 190 Gold, and you get 2 “gray” Spare Parts for dismantling them. “Gray” Spare Parts can be sold to other players for 50 Gold (minimum price) via the Trade section, so it’s more profitable to sell “gray” items (as well as “blue” ones) directly.
When dismantling “purple” pieces of equipment, you usually get several “gray” Spare Parts and 1 Advanced Spare Part (“purple”). Advanced Spare Parts can also be sold to players, and the minimum price for them is 1,000 Gold, which is higher than the price of the item itself when selling it directly.
Before dismantling or selling any weapons or pieces of equipment, you should check the prices first. You might lose quite a lot of Gold by selling or dismantling items without calculations.
Participate in Events
Events are available in the corresponding tab of the main menu. They might vary, but Gold is almost always present among the rewards.
Make Wishes
This feature is only available on Saturdays and Sundays. Go to Benefits → Marvelous Tree of Wishes, and choose one of the Wish Packs. You might not receive an advanced reward, but you always receive at least 10k Bound Gold. In addition, you will receive some extra Gold on Monday.
Participate in Mine Wars and Spirit Frenzy
In order to participate in Mine Wars and Spirit Frenzy activities, you have to join a Fleet (guild). This can be done at the Fleet Navigator Yudora in Rhine City.
Mine Wars and Spirit Frenzy are fleet daily activities. You can participate in them with other players from your fleet and earn valuable rewards, including tradable Gold.
Sell Items to Other Players
Some items can be sold to other players via the Trade feature. As I mentioned above, you can sell Spare Parts, but you can also sell pieces of equipment of “pink” quality, legendary Insignias, pieces of outfits, and various rare materials.
Complete Achievements
Some of the achievements reward you with tradable Gold. Most such achievements bring you 2-5k Gold, but for completing more difficult ones, you can earn up to 50k.
You shouldn’t focus on completing achievements from the very beginning of the game, though. Achievements are not a stable way of Gold farming, but rather a nice additional source of it.
Complete Adventure Manual Quests
Complete daily, weekly, and seasonal quests to earn Adventure Points and level up the Adventure Manual. At some levels, you will receive Gold as a reward.
In total, the basic Adventure Manual will bring you 247k Bound Gold, and the advanced version – 720k more. The advanced Adventure Manual costs 680 Vouchers, which is approximately $11.
Free Top-Up Gold
Visit the First Top-Up feature in the main menu to collect a Gold Bag (50k Bound Gold). It is completely free, but you can only collect this reward once.
Buy Gold for Opal
Using the Consignment feature, you can buy Gold from other players for Opals or sell it for Prismadium. Note that Opal is a donation currency and can only be bought for real money.
