SUPERVIVE Vault Guide: How to Open Quickly

Vaults can contain Armor (Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary), Power, and Gold. There are 4 types of Vaults in the game at the moment:

  • Common Vaults (White) – usually contain Powers, but sometimes might contain Gold and Armor (Uncommon or Rare).

  • Armor Vaults (Blue and Orange) – contain Rare and Legendary armor, respectively. They also contain Powers and sometimes Gold.

  • Abyssal Vault (Dark Orange) – usually contains rare Powers and sometimes Gold.

At the beginning of the match, only Armor and Abyssal Vaults are displayed on the map.

How to Open a Vault

  1. Approach the vault’s gate and press “E” to interact. You will have to play a simple mini-game. Your goal is to stop the needle in the bright-green or at least in the dark-green zones.

  2. The vault’s gate has HP, which is displayed on the gate itself. The gate takes 6k damage when you stop the needle in the dark-green zone and 3k damage when you stop it in the bright-green zone.

  3. If you fail and stop the needle outside the green zones, 3 electric spheres will appear nearby and slowly fly towards you. You should destroy them with your weapon; otherwise, they will deal significant damage when they reach your character. The number of spheres will increase with each failure.

  4. You can also deal damage to the gate directly using abilities and simple attacks, but this method takes much more time and is thus ineffective.

How to Help Your Ally Open a Vault

  • When the needle is successfully stopped in a green zone, there is a chance that “red devices” will appear. You (or your ally) should destroy them, dealing additional damage to the vault’s gate.

  • Also protect your ally from electric spheres so they can crack the vault faster.

Tips About Vaults

  • Be careful when cracking vaults, especially in ranked matches, because aggressive squads are very likely to make ambushes nearby and wait for easy prey.
  • You can also use this tactic against enemy squads, hiding yourself in bushes or using specific Powers for disguise.
  • If you are not a confident PVP player, it’s a bad idea to land next to vaults at the beginning of the game. Most aggressive squads will go there to hunt newbies and get valuable loot, so you have to be competitive to survive this confrontation.
